ThaiLife Homestay Resort & Spa is located amidst a peaceful hideaway surrounded by nature. ThaiLife has a tranquil, serene atmosphere which is an ideal setting for meditation. During peak season, there is beautiful sunshine. During rainy season, it is wonderfully quiet as there are less visitors and tourists.
We provide Short Guided Meditation Sessions (1-2 hours) to our guests for those who are interested in meditation. This is available all year round as per your request.
We also have 3-7 Day Meditation Retreats at the resort. An experienced instructor guides the courses in English. Our instructor can also teach with supplementary languages, such as German and Thai. Meditators will be taught Samatha meditation (the practice of achieving tranquility) and Vipassana meditation (the practice of insight and mindfulness).
During the retreat, you will get to learn different meditation techniques and practice of this knowledge. Buddhist philosophy is taught through Dhamma Talk video presentations or by visiting monks.
Course of retreats are only available from May to October. Please send us an e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org if you would like to check course availability.
HISTORY OF THAILIFE DHAMMLIFE
ThaiLife DhammLife Foundation was founded by Mrs. Maneerat Grueneberger, the owner of ThaiLife Homestay Resort & Spa, together with her family. The foundation has an objective to promote all kinds of spiritual activity, especially meditation. Our DhammLife building is also used for yoga retreats, Thai massage workshops, Tai Chi workshops, seminars and small traditional wedding ceremonies. The venue is also used for English classes for children from the local orphanage and summer camp for kids.
Thailand is a wonderful holiday destination, especially around the Andaman coast, which is filled with sand, sea and sun. In addition to that, if you are on a journey to finding a happier spiritual life and want to clear your mind, attending a meditation retreat in Thailand is also a valuable experience for both body and mind.
All individuals, groups and organizations are welcome!
